Trip Overview
The Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return to Kathmandu is among the most thrilling and adventurous attractions. It is as much fun as a trekking trip to the base camp as flying in a helicopter.
This package is for those who would like to hike to the Everest Base Camp, though they do not have time to trek back to Lukla on foot. You will hike deep inside the Himalayas and encounter some of the most captivating sceneries.
You will also truly immerse and experience the Sherpa culture and then take a spectacular helicopter ride back, providing a closer view of the tallest mountains in the world.
Your tour starts with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu, regarded as the Everest region's entry point. After arriving in Lukla, you will have a nice hike through the lovely Sherpa villages and pass through a surprisingly extensive forest of rhododendrons and pine trees, as well as alongside the Dudh Koshi River.
On the route, you will reach such important trekking centres as Namche Bazaar, the biggest market town on the way, and Tengboche Monastery, where you will enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and others. There are different experiences and exciting views every other day, and finally, ascending to the Everest Base Camp to take a glance at the tallest mountain on earth.
Later on, you would continue exploring the Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathar, which are famous for their beautiful sunrise views on Mount Everest; then, you would go on a helicopter ride back. This flight gives a rare chance to travel and watch the Himalayas with stunning views of mountains, valleys and rocks.
The return from the helicopter back to Kathmandu is also faster and more entertaining for the adventure you have just completed. This trip is best suited for those looking for some hard-core trekking, luxury and leisure, and bird' s-eye view of the entire region from a Helicopter.
